Travelling with Beagles | Marazion, Cornwall

On the road again - a weekend at the Seaside :)

We LOVE the sea and the Beagles LOVE the Beach and we always love to explore new places. So after having a think, we packed our bags and the Beagles and off we went ... A couple hours later we arrived at the stunning location of Marazion in Cornwall, only a stone throw away from the famous St Michael's Mount. The weather was gorgeous, well at least on the day of arrival, blue skye and big fat clouds. Love it. Off to the beach we went and the Beagles has a good roll and run on the sand.

And of course we all stopped to have a cornish ice cream and you can see, The Beagles LOVES theirs. Two licks and it was gone :)

After the excitement of beach, sand and ice cream, it was time to check in at our little hideaway for the weekend. We found the beautiful located GoDolphin Arms was just perfect for us. We knew it was dog friendly, but hey, they do love dogs. On arrival The Beagles were greeted with a BIG hello and they gave their best tail wag in return. We stayed in the Marazion Sea View room on the first floor and The Beagles had their own little dog bed and bowls and some little special dog treats, provided from the hotel. The first floor is also great with dogs, as you have a back entrance and can quickly go in and out for little toilet breaks for the dogs.

But it was the view which was just breath taking. We overlooked the sea and the Mount. Stunning and we did not wanted to leave.

The food was amazing and we can highly recommend the Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream. It is to die for and trust me, you do not want to share. We choose to have dinner in the restaurant, as the dogs are welcome in the first floor (downstairs) dinning area and The Beagle also got their own little plate with some tasty treats. Saying this, it did not stop them from begging for our food. Breakfast is also served in the first floor and dogs are welcome, as long as they sit well behaved under the table :)

Call me crazy or dedicated ... I got up at around 5am for Twilight photos of the mount. And even so it was misty and some of the Mount was missing in the mist, it looked stunning and mystical. And it was so worth it, getting up so early, to see the peaceful see and to see a new day awaken.

...........................................................................................

From depths of silence , now alight, the dragon left his lair tonight.
His breath hangs still within the air, mist hugs the town, traveler, beware.

A misty glow hangs on the town, thick, foggy presence all around.
Go lightly, ye, amongst the mist, through all the places the dragon kissed.

Burn bright the day to lift the bog, of all that weepy, sullen fog.
And grant the new upon the town, with dawn and freshness all around. - Unknown-
