Bring your Dog to Work Day 2017
Bring your Dog to Work Day 2017

I am very lucky that I am my own boss and that I can have my fur babies with me all day long. They sleeping under my desk, joining me for lunch and when I need a break we can go for a walk or a game of chase the ball. Unfortunately, most of us are not allowed to bring their dogs to work and even so I think you all should be allowed to, sometimes it is just not possible. Specially when working in an area around food (even so Porthos would LOVE to help there) or if your work mates might have a dog hair allergy. I do wish, as a dog owner, more banks, cafes and restaurants would allow dogs in, as I would go out more, meet up with friends, have a coffee in town and yes spent money. I am from Europe and I am so used to go in a cafe or have lunch and also go shopping and I can bring my dog with me. And I hope it will change in time, as we are suppose to be a dog friendly nation.
But lucky there are changes in the air and lots of offices starting to see the benefits of having dogs in the offices and even some London restaurants becoming more open for allowing dogs and even offering dog menus. Paws up for welcoming dogs in.
You can get involved with the fun across Twitter, Facebook and Google+ using the hashtag #BringYourDogToWorkDay.

YOUR DONATIONS SUPPORT
All Dogs Matter is a charity that rescues and rehomes more than 300 dogs a year in London, Norfolk and the surrounding areas, and has three members of staff. The dogs in their care are either strays, are relocated from pounds, or simply come from owners who can no longer keep them. A mixture of foster homes and kennel spaces are used to take care of the dogs.
Founded in 1998 by Jill Robinson MBE, Animals Asia has worked tirelessly around the horrific dog and cat meat trade as well as the cruel bear bile farming industry. It promotes compassion and respect for all animals, working to improve their welfare and bring about long-term change in China and Vietnam. It is the only organisation with a bear sanctuary in China.
