HULA Animal Rescue is a small registered charity (registration number 1094115) that has been helping animals and their owners since 1972.
HULA takes in unwanted and abandoned cats, dogs, rabbits etc. for re-homing, but also rescues large animals and has goats, pigs, Shetland ponies, chickens, ducks, a goose and sheep as well as two very lively cows who will stay with us for the rest of their lives. 

The HULA Animal Rescue Centre is located in Aspley Guise near Woburn.

Rudi | HULA Animal RescueGood day to you all,
My name's Rudi and I’m 11 years young.

Please don’t be fooled by my age, because although I may be an older chap I love to go out on walks so I’m looking for an active home.

I have been told that I can be quite bossy with other dogs so I would like to be the only dog in the home. Besides at least then you can have all of my love and attention.

I have been known to be worried by bikes and scooters so my carers at HULA have been doing some training with me to help me overcome this.

As long as I’ve been exercised, I can be left on my own for 4-5 hours.

Can you offer me a comfy spot in your home where I can grow old gracefully?

RUDI

Rudi is 11 years young and a very special lad. He loves his walks and lots of attention.Rudi is worried by bikes and scooters but he is getting better. Rudi is looking for a new home where he can grow old gracefully.

Max | HULA Animal RescueMy name’s Max and I’m a friendly and outgoing chap who likes to be around people.

Please don’t be fooled by my age, because although I may be a slightly older guy I am still very active and like to go out on walks.

I’m looking for a special home with a patient and experienced owner as I can get anxious in some situations. My carers at HULA can give you more information about this and the training they’ve been doing with me.

I’ve been mixed with other dogs while I’ve been at HULA and get on brilliantly with them all so I could live with a canine companion (providing we get on well together during our introductions).

I can be left on my own for 3-4 hours as long as I’ve been well exercised before you leave me.

MAX

Max is a very friendly chap who loves people. He is an older dog but is looking for an active home.

Biscuit | HULA Animal RescueMy name’s Biscuit and I’m a loveable and energetic lurcher. I arrived at HULA after being found as a stray with no home to call my own.

I’m very playful and because I have such long legs I’m really good at chasing so won’t be able to live with small furry animals.

I would love my new owner to be around with me at home for most of the day and I’m thinking of getting a girlfriend so could live with a female canine companion (providing we get on together during our introductions.

I can be a little scared in new situations so would love someone to introduce me to the big wide world where I can explore and build my confidence.

Can you offer me a space in your home and a spot on your sofa where I can stretch my long legs out after a day of exploring? BISCUIT

Biscuit is a loveable and energetic Lurcher. He was found at a stray before he came to HULA. He is very playful but won't be able to live with small furry animals. Biscuit can be scared in new situations and would love a new home with someone around him most of the day.

Robin | HULA Animal RescueMy name’s Robin and I’m a lively and energetic lad. I arrived at HULA after being found as a stray with no home to call my own.

I didn’t have the best start in life so I can take a little while to get to know people. But it’s worth the wait because I’m great at giving cuddles!

Being a fun loving staffie, I can be very excitable, especially around others dogs. Although I do mean well I can sometimes forget my manners so I would love to go along to training classes to help me with my social skills.

As I am an active lad who enjoys being out and about, I would love a new home where I’m kept busy.

I can be left on my own for approximately 2-3 hours as long as I’ve been exercised before I’m left.

Robin is a lively lad and didn't had the best start in life. He is a fun loving Staffie and loves cuddles even so he might need a while when he is meeting new people. Robin is very excitable and would love to go along to training classes with his new humans.

I’d like to be the only dog in the household as I do like attention and would like to be the centre of your world.

My carers at HULA have told me that I can sometimes be a little bit bossy with male dogs so I would really like to go socialisation classes.

I’m an excitable and strong lad so am looking for a family who are willing to put the time in to take me to training classes so I can learn to take things at a slower pace. I promise that if you take me to training I will be a very willing student and will always try my hardest to please you.

RED

Red is a very cheeky lad who was found as a stray. He loves attention and to be the centre of someones life. He is looking for an active home and would love to go to training classes with his new family.
